Nessun Dorma – Concerto-Reading for Palestine in Porto Recanati
On Friday, September 13th, 2024, the evocative setting of the Pinacoteca A. Moroni – Castello Svevo in Porto Recanati will host a special cultural event: “Nessun Dorma – concerto-reading per la Palestina.”
The evening will feature a dialogue between music and words, uniting guitar performance and literature in a tribute to Palestine.
Music Program
Guitarists Magdalena Fontana and Gianmarco D’Emilio will perform a selection of my original solo guitar compositions:

- The Other Side of Silence
- Echoes of the Past
Alongside these, the program will include one of my Arabic song arrangements from my book The East Classics: the beloved Palestinian folk song “Yumma Mwel El Hawa.”
Readings
The musical program will be interwoven with readings by Laura Pontoni, who will give voice to excerpts from Francesca Albanese’s book “Quando il Mondo Dorme.”
